• BPX - Partner of SAP Financial Conference 2009

    The conference took place on 24-25 February 2009 in Wisła. As an official partner, BPX presented advanced solutions concerning Financial risk management in SAP system which may effectively protect against the currency risk.

    The conference was organized for the 6th time. It is an annual meeting which is directed to people who are responsible for company’s finance (head accountants, controlling/planning department managers, quaestors) and IT specialists who support them through the implementation of appropriate IT solutions. The conference gives an opportunity to exchange experience regarding implementations of SAP solutions and to gain knowledge about solutions which optimize processes and costs.

    The subjects of the conference also included the discussion about the economic situation connected with planned for 2012 currency conversion, the influence of law changes on tax settlements and issues presenting potential areas of tax optimization using SAP solutions. The exchange of experience and knowledge was organized as the presentation of the most interesting implementations during the last year and as the presentation of innovative and non-financial solutions that provide financial departments with the effective support. What is more, functional SAP ERP Financials innovations and current economic and tax issues were presented. The form of the conference allowed the participants to broaden their knowledge, to exchange their experience during meetings with clients and experts, to get advice and information and to participate in thematic discussions.

    BPX experts presented SAP solutions that support Financial risk management in respect of the protection against the currency risk. Our presentation aimed at showing the possibilities to prevent the influence of exchange rate fluctuations using SAP solutions. The proper control over foreign exchange dealing has a huge impact on the strategic position of enterprises which conduct their business on the international markets. It is especially important considering the situation on Polish exchange market.
